I am a documentary photographer and filmmaker based in Northeast England. I am currently focusing my lens on early childhood, rural hinterlands and the culture of upland agriculture. I see photography both moving and still as an inherently powerful tool in the weaving of narrative and I try adopting these inherent strengths, together with a meaningful depth of research of my subjects, in to the stories I communicate. I am the newest member of the photography collective Wideyed. (www.wideyed.org)
I apply these principals of image making whether working with editorial or commercial clients or when pursuing personal projects and I am available for commission to help tell the stories you need to tell.
My work is published both locally and nationally, most recently work has been featured in the Economist Espresso, The Northern Correspondent, aCurator.com, The Northumbrian, foto8.com and Life Force Magazine.
